The most important thing that I have to say this week is RAIN. It has been wonderful to have the great moisture. Last week I mowed my yard and it looked so nice and then we had rain. I will have to mow again this week, but that is fine with me.

Swisher County Farm Bureau announces 2026 scholarship winners

To help local students achieve their dreams of furthering their education, Swisher County Farm Bureau awarded local scholarships.“We offer these scholarships at a local level to help kids right here at home,” Swisher County Farm Bureau President Barry Evans said.

Tulia High School local scholarships were awarded during the VIP Awards.The first to be awarded was Mid-Plains Rural Telephone Scholarship of $1,000 each announced by Dusty George to Avary Wesley, Anayeli Barajas, and Diana Briones.
